Fred and I have been married for 22 years. Fred works for the Lee's Summit Police Dept. We have two daughters, Kaitlyn who is a sophomore at Lutheran High / Kansas City and Haley who is a 3rd grader at Messiah Lutheran in Independence. I work at Commonwealth Land Title as a residential examiner/underwriter. I enjoy volunteering at the kid's schools, teaching Sunday School and serving as director for vacation bible school. Graduated from Smith-Cotton in '82, went to UMR for a year(whao!!). I transfered to State Fair CC and finished my AA in 1985. Started at Waterloo in 1984 and have been there 24 years ('cept for 5 months in 2006, MFA oil). Mindy and I have been married for 20 years and have 2 children, Halee 17(Senior at S-C and verbally committed to Southwest Baptist for soccer) and Spencer 12(7th grade). We spend most or our time carpooling to practices or attending sporting events that our kids are involved in. We are active in S-C booster clubs (soccer Pres.) and anything that will help Sedalia get into the 21st century:). One of my regrets is not staying closer in touch with my H'ville friends all these years. See you in 2012 or maybe sooner?!

What have you been doing for 25 years?:
After basketball at UMKC and a brief stint at an accounting firm in KC-- I started work for Mobil (as in ExxonMobil) in NY in 1988, moved to DC in 89, met my husband, and had a rewarding career in various corporate departments for 11 years before the 3rd child threw me over the brink. Harry & I had been married for almost a full year at the Hville 10 year reunion-- and had our first son 9 months later. Hmm. Now you know why we've never been back until now. My oldest son is 14, daughter is 11, and youngest son is 8. Name it-- and we do it-- just like most of you with kids (football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, piano & guitar, skiing)-- and of course scouting. Yep-- all 5 of us have uniforms. We've slept on battleships, museums, & tents. We've hiked, biked, camped, climbed, floated around NE. MA is like southern MO only the water is cold, and there's no heat & humidity. We live in a town of 10,000 where everyone votes by hand at the annual town meeting on every line item of the town budget. We're 10 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from skiing, and 50 minutes from Times Square. We moved to CT 5 years ago from VA and I scare people when I tell them with an absolutely straight face that folks from the center of the country think that the east and west coasts should fall off into the ocean and make the world a better place. They think I'm joking. I'm not. There's a line in the movie "Stepford Wives" where Glen Close says, "Where else but in Connecticut could I create a town of plastic perfect women?" That was supposed to be comedic.... I find that it explains a lot!

After HHS, I completed college with a BS in Medical Technology and started working at Olathe Medical Center. I am still working part time at OMC. It is hard to believe I have been there 20+ years.
